# RecruitAffiliates.ai Partners

How our own affiliate program for RecruitAffiliates.ai tracks a referred founder and pays its partner 40% of every payment.

RecruitAffiliates.ai Partners is our own affiliate program for RecruitAffiliates.ai. A **partner** is somebody who sends founders our way. When a founder they sent pays for RecruitAffiliates.ai, the partner earns 40% of that payment, every month, for as long as the founder stays.

It runs on AffiliateRail, like any program our customers run. Its portal is at `recruitaffiliates.affiliaterail.io`, and the terms are at [recruitaffiliates.ai/affiliates/terms](https://recruitaffiliates.ai/affiliates/terms).

## How a referral is tracked

1. A founder clicks a partner's link to recruitaffiliates.ai.
2. If they accept cookies, the site keeps a note of the click for 60 days.
3. When they sign up at app.recruitaffiliates.ai within those 60 days, their account is tied to that partner.
4. Each time they pay a RecruitAffiliates.ai invoice, the partner earns 40% of it.

The first partner wins. A later click from a different partner doesn't move a founder who is already tied.

If the founder declines cookies, no note is kept and the signup isn't tied to anybody.

## What counts as a payment

- **A paid RecruitAffiliates.ai invoice** earns a commission, including every renewal.
- **A $0 invoice** earns nothing.
- **An AffiliateRail invoice** never earns in this program. AffiliateRail has its own program, AffiliateRail Partners, and a founder can be referred to each product by a different partner. Each partner is paid only on the product they referred.
- **A refund** takes the commission back. If it hasn't been paid out yet, it's cancelled. If it has, it comes off the partner's next payout.
- **Signing yourself up** through your own link earns nothing. We flag it for review.

## Payouts

Partners are paid by PayPal or Wise, on the program's usual schedule. A new commission waits out the program's holding period first, so a refund in the first days can still cancel it.
