# Bring your current affiliates

Upload the people who already promote you, so RecruitAffiliates.ai never emails them and looks for more like your best ones.

If you already run an affiliate program, some creators and sites already promote you. Emailing one of them to join a program they're already in would be embarrassing for you and for them. So add your list first.

## What to upload

Any of these, mixed together:

- Emails.
- Websites.
- Instagram, TikTok or YouTube links, like `instagram.com/janedoe` or `tiktok.com/@janedoe`.
- A CSV export from your affiliate app.

In your affiliate app, find the affiliates list and export it as a CSV. Every app words its columns differently, so we read the headings by meaning. A column headed **Instagram**, **IG**, **TikTok** or **TT** holds handles on that platform. We ignore columns such as Name, Status and Commission. A profile link works in any column.

A bare `@name` in a column that doesn't say its platform can't be placed: the same name can be three different people. We count those, show you how many, and ask for the full link instead. Nothing is guessed.

## Where to add them

- **During setup**, on step 1, under "Already have affiliates? Add your list." It's optional, and it comes before your first search.
- **Any time later**, in Saved, under Existing affiliates, or in Brand, under Who you want.

You can upload the same file twice. The second time adds nothing.

## What happens to them

Everyone on the list is kept out of:

- your searches and Discover, where they show as Existing affiliates,
- a campaign's audience, as "Already your affiliate",
- the weekly batch,
- every send. If someone is added to the list after their campaign started, their next email is stopped.

The count sits where the list lives, for example: "312 current affiliates kept out: 40 by Instagram, 12 by TikTok."

## Examples for your search

After you add a list, you can pick up to five of your best affiliates. They're kept as examples for the lookalike search and never appear in your results. A work address or personal email is never used as an example.

Your first scan uses the Instagram and TikTok ones: it looks for accounts like them on that platform. A website or YouTube example waits for the lookalike search on Discover, which needs you to confirm a profile first.

We keep the emails, sites and profile links as keys, and nothing else from the file.
