# Connect PartnerStack

Paste your PartnerStack key so a deal you agree can add the affiliate to PartnerStack in one press.

Connect PartnerStack and an agreed deal gets an "Add to PartnerStack" button. One press adds the affiliate to your PartnerStack account.

## Connect it

1. In PartnerStack, open **Settings**, then **Integrations**, then PartnerStack API keys. Copy the Production secret key and the public key.
2. In RecruitAffiliates.ai, go to **Settings**, then **Integrations**, then the PartnerStack card. Press **Connect**.
3. Paste the Production secret key and the public key. We check it with one read, store it encrypted and never show it again.
4. Pick the **group** new partners go to.

PartnerStack calls campaigns groups, so you pick a group. We ask PartnerStack not to email the partner. Only owners and admins can connect. Everyone else can read the card. [Integrations](/integrations) explains the cards.

## Add to PartnerStack

Open an agreed deal and press "Add to PartnerStack". It:

- Creates the partner with their name and email in the group you picked.
- Saves their referral link if PartnerStack returns one. A **referral link** is the link that credits a sale to that partner. We read the referral link after the partner is made, and save it.
- Moves the card to **Live**.

Pressing twice creates one partner. If the email already exists in PartnerStack, we link the deal to that partner instead.

## Your current partners

When you connect, and once a week after that, we read your PartnerStack partners. Everyone already in PartnerStack is skipped in every scan, so you don't pay to find people you already have. Only emails are skipped.

The card shows "N current partners skipped in your scans". Press **Read them again** to refresh the count now.

## The referral link

In the invite reply in Mailroom, the referral link from PartnerStack is used ahead of your own signup link.

## When something goes wrong

Errors show on the card in PartnerStack's own words. Fix the cause, then press **Retry**.
