# Connect Webgains

Read Webgains Publisher Search and add the publishers to Saved.

If your program runs on Webgains, you can let us read its publisher search. For each publisher it shows a contact email, visits and conversion rate.

This is in beta. It's built from Webgains' documentation and hasn't run against a live account.

## What you do in Webgains

1. Make a user just for us that can open Publisher Search. You can remove it any time.
2. Note your API Client ID and Client secret, if your account has them.

If Webgains asks that user for a two-step code or a CAPTCHA, we stop and tell you. We never try to get past one.

## Connect

1. Go to **Settings**, then **Integrations**, then **Your affiliate network**.
2. On the **Webgains** card, press **Connect** and paste the details.

## What happens

- The API reads the publishers already in your program, so we can mark them.
- Publisher search is read through the dedicated user, from a separate machine, slowly.
- New publishers go to **Saved**, in a list called **From Webgains**. Where Webgains shows a contact email, we keep it as unverified.

## Disconnect

Press **Disconnect** on the card, and remove the user in Webgains. Publishers already in Saved stay.
