# The Make app

Run a Make scenario the moment a creator replies, and act on prospects from any scenario.

The RecruitAffiliates.ai app for Make gives you instant triggers and modules for the API.

**Status:** built and tested, waiting for Make's review. Until it's listed, the [Make recipe](/recipes/make) does the same job with Make's own HTTP module.

## What you need

- A Grow plan, which includes the API and webhooks.
- An API key from **Settings**, in the API tab. Start with a **test key**: it only sees sample prospects and spends nothing.

## Connect

Add a connection and paste your key. Make checks it and labels it "Test key" or "Live key".

## Triggers

All instant. The scenario runs the moment the event happens.

- **New reply**, with "Only interested replies".
- **Prospect moved stage**, with a "To stage" filter.
- **Partner signed up**, **Partner invited**, **Deal agreed**, **Email found**, **Search finished**.
- **New note**, **Prospect saved**, **Prospect assigned to a teammate**.
- **Any event.** Pick any of the [webhook events](/webhooks#events).

An event carries ids only. After a trigger, add **Get a prospect** and map `data.prospect_id` into it. After **New note**, add **List a prospect's notes** and pick the note whose id matches `data.note_id`.

## Modules

- **Save a prospect**, **Move a prospect to a stage**, **Add a note** and **Add a prospect to a list**.
- **Start a search.** It uses one search credit.
- **Get a prospect**, **Update a prospect**, **Search saved prospects** and **List a prospect's notes**.
- **Make an API call**, for anything else.

## Keep the hook address private

Make passes the event on as plain data, so it can't check our signature. Anyone who knows the long hook address could post to it. Don't share it. See [check the signature](/webhooks#check-the-signature) for what the signature does.

## Test without touching real work

A test key sends **test events** (`livemode` is `false`) when it saves, hides, moves or notes a sample prospect. Only your test scenario hears them. See [test mode](/webhooks#test-mode).
