# Report a problem

Something broke? Press Report a problem and we'll see the page, the error and your account without you describing them.

Something broke, or a page didn't load. Press **Report a problem**. It's at the bottom of every page, and on the page you see when something goes wrong.

It opens an email to us in your own mail app, with the important bits already filled in. Add what you were doing, then send it. Nothing is sent until you press send.

## What the email says for you

Three lines at the bottom:

- **Page:** where you were, for example `/campaigns`. Only the page, never the rest of the address, which can hold a sign-in link.
- **Reference:** the code from the error page, if there was one.
- **Account:** your account's id, so we look at the right one. It starts with `org_`.

Keep them in, and we can find the exact error you saw. You can still delete any of them.

## The reference on an error page

When a page fails, it shows **Reference:** and a short code. It's a number when the error was on our side, and eight letters and numbers when it happened in your browser. Either way it points us straight at what went wrong.

Try **Retry page** first. Most errors are a blip. If it happens again, press **Report a problem** on that same page, so the reference goes with it.

## No chat, on purpose

We answer by email. Your report reaches the person who builds the product. The reply lands in your inbox, so it can't get lost in a chat window you've closed.
