Billing
Pay for RecruitAffiliates.ai, update your card, recover a failed payment, pause a monthly plan, cancel, or ask for the 30-day refund.
Open Settings, then Billing. Your plan, credits and invoices are all there, with Launch and Grow side by side so you can see what each one includes.
Only the account owner can pay, pause or cancel. Teammates can see the page but can't change it.
Your trial
Your RecruitAffiliates.ai trial lasts 14 days and doesn't ask for a card. It includes 20 email credits and five search credits.
If you signed up through a founding invite, your trial lasts 60 days instead, and the Billing page says so. A founding invite is a personal signup link we send by hand. It works once, and it still doesn't ask for a card.
When the trial ends without a plan, your account turns read-only. Read-only means you can see everything you saved, but scans, email reveals and sending stop. Nothing is deleted. Every screen starts with a line saying so, with a link to the Billing page, so you can see why a button won't work.
For 14 days after a trial ends, two things stay open without a plan:
- You can answer anyone who replied to your outreach, from the Mailroom. A thread with no reply in it waits for a plan.
- You can export your saved affiliates once, as a CSV, from the Saved page or the Billing page.
Start a paid plan
You can pay during the trial or after it ends:
- Open Settings, then Billing.
- Pick Monthly or Yearly above the cards.
- Press Start on the Launch or Grow card. The button shows the plan and exactly what you're charged today, whichever way you pay.
- Finish the secure Stripe checkout.
The checkout page shows the RecruitAffiliates.ai name and logo. For now, your receipts and invoices come from our company's Stripe account, so they may show the name AffiliateRail. That's us too.
When Stripe sends you back, the Billing page says the payment was received. Your plan updates a few seconds later.
Paying during the trial ends the trial that day and starts your first paid month. There's no second trial.
The Start buttons hide while Stripe still holds a subscription for you. That's one that's cancelling, paused or retrying a payment. A second checkout would charge you twice.
Yearly prices on the cards
On yearly, each card leads with the monthly figure. The yearly total sits right under it, so you see the full charge before you reach Stripe. Let's say you pick Launch yearly. The card says $65.83 a month, then "$790 billed yearly. 2 months free, a $158 saving." The button says "Start Launch, $790 a year". No surprises.
Prices and credits
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Email credits each month | Search credits each month | Inboxes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $79 | $790 ($65.83 a month) | 200 | 20 | 1 |
| Grow | $199 | $1,990 ($165.83 a month) | 600 | 60 | 3 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Unlimited | Unlimited | To fit |
Paying yearly gets you 2 months free. Annual plans still reset credits each month.
Need more inboxes on Launch or Grow? Each extra inbox is +$15 a month, or $150 a year on an annual plan. It's added to the plan you already pay for, on the same bill. See More inboxes.
The same numbers are published as data at https://app.recruitaffiliates.ai/api/public/plans, the file our pricing page is built from. Prices there are in cents. Unused credits don't roll over.
Completing the activation checklist adds ten email credits, once per account. That bonus doesn't expire with the month. Your monthly credits get used first, then the bonus, and whatever's left carries over.
Your card and your Stripe account
Your first checkout creates your billing account in Stripe. Stripe calls it a customer: the record that holds your card, your billing email and your invoices.
Use AffiliateRail too? Then both products share that one Stripe customer, so you only enter a card once. The subscriptions stay separate, and so do the invoices. Cancelling one product never touches the other.
To change your card, billing email or address, press Update card or see invoices. It opens Stripe's billing portal, a secure page Stripe hosts for us. You can download past invoices there too. Plan changes, pauses and cancelling stay on our Billing page.
If a payment fails
Stripe tells us when a renewal payment doesn't go through. Here's what happens next:
- Your plan shows Payment needs attention, and everyone on the account sees a notice on Today.
- Each account owner gets an email called "Your payment didn't go through", with an Update your card button.
- Campaigns and searches pause at once. Your saved work stays visible.
- Stripe tries the card again over the next 7 days.
To fix it, press Update your card. It takes you straight to the card form in Stripe's portal. The link in the notice on Today opens the same form. Once a payment goes through, paid access comes back on its own.
Move up a plan
An owner can move from Launch to Grow, or from monthly to annual, at any time. Open Settings, then Billing, pick the plan under Move up to, and press See the price.
Nothing is charged yet. The next screen shows:
- The amount you pay today. That's the new price less what's left of your current plan.
- The card it goes on.
- What you pay after that, and when.
Press the button with the amount on it to upgrade, or Not now to go back. Stripe invoices the amount the same day, and the bigger plan's credits apply straight away.
Change or cancel a plan
A downgrade starts at renewal. You keep the plan already paid for until then, on the same billing interval, so Grow annual moves to Launch annual rather than Launch monthly.
Pressing the button to move to Launch at renewal changes nothing yet. First you see:
- What Grow gives you next to what Launch gives you, and how much of each you use today.
- A warning if you already use more than Launch allows. Say you have three brands and Launch has one.
Nothing is deleted. What you have keeps working at renewal, but you can't add a brand, mailbox, teammate or rule until you're back under Launch's limits. The API, webhooks and client links stop that day. Extra inboxes you bought move to Launch with you, so they still count.
To cancel, press Cancel plan on the Billing page. We ask why first. Picking a reason is optional, and it goes to Stripe with your cancellation so we can see why people leave and fix it. Some reasons come with a suggestion:
- It costs too much: on a monthly plan, we show what the same plan costs paid yearly.
- I'm not using it enough: three things to try first, with links.
Then the screen tells you what happens, and Keep my plan is the big button. To go ahead, press Cancel at period end.
You keep paid access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't billed again. After that, the account turns read-only.
Pause a monthly plan
Taking a quiet month? You can pause a monthly plan for 1 or 2 months instead of cancelling:
- Press Cancel plan on the Billing page.
- Press Pause 1 month or Pause 2 months.
While you're paused, Stripe doesn't charge you and your account is read-only. The Billing page shows the date your plan starts again. On that date it renews at the same price with no extra step.
Three days before that date, the account owner gets an email saying when the plan starts again and what it costs. To stop instead, cancel on the Billing page before then.
Want to come back early? Press Resume now on the Billing page. Annual plans can't be paused, and neither can a plan with a downgrade waiting for renewal.
The 30-day refund
This is the promise from section 6 of our terms, word for word:
If you're not happy, email support@recruitaffiliates.ai within 30 days of your first payment and we refund all of it. No questions, no forms. It covers your first payment on a plan, monthly or yearly. After 30 days, cancelling stops the next payment and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
A refund ends the plan that day, and your account turns read-only. Your saved work stays.
End a trial early
You don't need to end a trial to avoid a charge. We never take a card during the trial, so nothing is charged when it ends. Ending it early only stops everything sooner: searches, email finding and sending stop that day.
If you'd rather not forget, press Keep my trial, remind me the day before. Every trial gets an email the day before it ends.
To end it anyway, press End my trial now on the Billing page. We ask why first, and what happens next depends on your answer:
- I ran out of time offers more trial days. Nothing is charged, and you can still cancel any time. If a campaign you're running would stop part-way because the trial ends, the offer is exactly the days it needs to finish. Otherwise it's 7 days. The offer is made once per account, ever.
- No replies yet points you to a free 20-minute review of your first campaign. You can book it at cal.com/recruitaffiliates/demo.
- It's missing something I need asks what, and gives you a link that emails your answer to support@recruitaffiliates.ai, where the founder reads it.
- It costs too much, It's not the right time and Something else don't come with an offer. A pause needs a paid plan to hold, so it isn't available on a trial.
Whatever you pick, End my trial now ends the trial. Your account turns read-only, and your saved affiliates and deals stay. Nothing is ever blocked behind an offer.
Your inbox when a plan ends
When a paid plan ends, your inbox stays connected for 7 more days. When a trial ends, it stays for 14, so you can answer replies. If you pay in that time, nothing changes.
After that, we disconnect the mailbox and pause its sequences. Your emails and replies stay put. To start again, pay for a plan, then open Settings, Inboxes and press Reconnect. Sign in to the same mailbox, and its sequences pick up where they left off.
Find an invoice
Open Settings, then Billing. Each invoice links to Stripe's hosted copy. Only RecruitAffiliates.ai invoices are listed there. AffiliateRail's invoices stay in the AffiliateRail app, even when both products share one Stripe customer.
