The Zapier app
Start a Zap the moment a creator replies, and act on prospects from any Zap, without writing code.
The RecruitAffiliates.ai app for Zapier turns your events into triggers and the API into actions.
Status: built and tested, waiting for Zapier's review. Until it's listed, the Zapier recipe does the same job with "Webhooks by Zapier".
What you need
- A Grow plan, which includes the API and webhooks.
- An API key. Open Settings, go to the API tab and make one. Start with a test key. It only sees sample prospects, spends nothing and sends nothing.
Connect
Add RecruitAffiliates.ai in Zapier and paste your key. The connection shows "Test key" or "Live key" and your plan, so you always know which one a Zap is using.
Triggers
A trigger starts a Zap the moment something happens. You don't wait for Zapier to check.
- New Reply. Tick "Only interested replies" to skip the no-thanks ones.
- Prospect Moved Stage. Pick a "to stage" to only hear about, say, Talking terms.
- Partner Signed Up, Partner Invited, Deal Agreed, Email Found, Search Finished.
- New Note, Prospect Saved, Prospect Assigned to a Teammate.
- Any Event. Pick any of the webhook events.
A trigger that is about a prospect also hands you their name, link, email (if found), stage and owner.
Actions
- Save a Prospect, optionally onto a list.
- Move a Prospect to a Stage. Said no and Later need a reason.
- Add a Note.
- Add a Prospect to a List.
- Start a Search. It uses one search credit. Map a run ID into "Run ID" and a retry never costs a second credit.
- Update a Prospect. Set the owner or the follow-up date.
- Find a Saved Prospect.
Test without touching real work
A test key can save, hide, move and note the 12 sample prospects. Each change sends a test event: a real event with livemode set to false. Your test Zap hears it. Your live Zaps, your team's bell, your emails and your reports don't. Read more in test mode.
If something goes wrong
402: your plan doesn't include the API. It's on Grow.429: you've hit 120 requests a minute. Zapier waits and tries again.- Anything else: the Zap's run history shows our message. It says what to fix.
