Connect Notion

Send your affiliates to a Notion database, one row each, with their stage.

Keep your affiliates in a Notion database. You make a connection in Notion, share one database with it, and we add a row for each affiliate.

A connection is Notion's name for an app you let into your workspace. It can only see the pages and databases you share with it.

Make a connection in Notion

You need to be a workspace owner for this part.

  1. In Notion, open Settings, then Connections, then Develop or manage integrations.
  2. Press New integration. Pick your workspace and keep the type as Internal.
  3. Copy the Internal Integration Secret.

Share a database with it

  1. Open the database you want your affiliates in. An empty one is fine.
  2. Press the ••• menu, then Connections, and add the connection you just made.

Connect

  1. Go to Settings, then Integrations.
  2. On the Notion card, press Connect and paste the secret.
  3. Under Affiliates go to, pick the database. If it isn't there, share it with the connection in Notion, then press Refresh the list.

We check the secret with one read, then store it encrypted. You won't see it again.

Send

  1. Go to Lists.
  2. On a list or a segment, press Send to another tool, then Notion.
  3. Press Check who goes, then Send to Notion.

What lands in Notion

  • One row per affiliate with an email, matched on the Email column. Someone already there is updated.
  • We add any of these columns the database doesn't have yet: Email, RecruitAffiliates.ai stage, Channel, Profile link and RecruitAffiliates.ai link. Your other columns are left alone.
  • The affiliate's name goes in the database's title column, whatever you've called it.
  • An update changes only the stage, so your own edits in Notion stay.
  • Nobody who opted out, asked to be removed or was marked Do not contact ever goes. Nor does anyone who's already your partner, or anyone with no email.

Keep stages in sync

Tick Keep stages in sync on the card. Once a day, anyone you sent who moved stage here is updated in Notion. Nothing comes back from Notion.

Plans

Here, it needs a paid plan with exports, Launch or higher. Notion lets about three requests a second, so a big list takes a minute or two.
