Slack alerts
Get a Slack message when someone replies, a partner goes active, and once a week.
Slack alerts put the news in a channel your team already reads. They come with Grow and higher. They use a Slack webhook, which is a web address that posts whatever it's sent into one channel.
Connect Slack
- In Slack, go to Apps, then Incoming WebHooks, then "Add to Slack". Pick the channel.
- Copy the address. It starts
https://hooks.slack.com/. - In RecruitAffiliates.ai, go to Settings, then Integrations, then Slack. Paste it.
- Tick the alerts you want.
- Press Send a test message to check it works.
The alerts
- Interested reply. Someone answered your outreach and wants to talk.
- New active partner. An affiliate went Live, in AffiliateRail or in your own tool.
- The weekly line. Replies, new partners and new affiliates found, once a week after your weekly scan.
- Follow-ups due. One message in the morning when a follow-up date you set on a card has come round. See Follow-up reminders.
What a message holds
Messages carry ids and counts. They never carry a name or an email address, because people outside your account can read a Slack channel.
Also a webhook
Slack shows on the Webhooks tab too. Webhooks has the full event list.
