Partner gap
A table of who your competitors work with, by kind of partner, next to who you work with.
The partner gap shows where your competitors have partners and you don't. It's one table. Each row is a kind of partner, such as a reviewer or a newsletter. Two numbers sit beside it: how many of that kind your competitors work with, and how many you work with.
It's switched on per account. When it is, it shows at the end of setup, on Today, and at /reports/gap.
Read the table
- Your rivals work with is the sites and creators your scans proved promote a competitor. It's the same rule as the "already promotes" badge on Discover. A directory, a podcast or anyone you hid never counts.
- You work with is how many of those already work with you: your current affiliates, and the ones who joined through RecruitAffiliates.ai.
- Missing is the difference. It's never below zero.
- Every number opens the people behind it on Discover, where you can save them.
- Not sure holds sites we haven't sorted by type yet, and people your scan left out because they're already your affiliates.
You need competitors for it
The table counts against your competitor list. With none, it has nothing to count, and an empty table would look like nobody promotes your competitors. So the report says it can't run yet, and Discover asks you to add three. Add them on your brand's search tab.
At the end of setup we show the competitors we found, so you can fix a wrong one before it's counted.
