Connect UpPromote
Paste your UpPromote API key so we keep the affiliates you already have out of every email.
Connect UpPromote and we read your affiliates, so we never email someone who already promotes you. We read them when you connect and again every week.
The UpPromote card says Beta. We built it from UpPromote's own API pages, but we haven't run it on a live UpPromote account yet. If connecting fails, the card says what went wrong. Email us and we'll fix it with you.
Before you start
UpPromote's API key comes with its Professional plan and up. On a lower plan there's no key to find. Upload your export instead: see Bring your current affiliates.
Connect it
- In UpPromote, open Settings, then Integrations. Scroll to API Key and press Get API Key. Copy it.
- In RecruitAffiliates.ai, go to Settings, then Integrations, then the UpPromote card. Press Connect.
- Paste the key. We check it with one read, store it encrypted and never show it again.
- Pick the program you want new partners to go to.
Only owners and admins can connect. Everyone else can read the card. Integrations explains the cards.
What we read
For each affiliate: their email, name, status, website, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube channel and the date they joined. We use the email, website and handles to keep them out of every scan and every email. The card says how many are kept out: "312 kept out."
We don't read their payment details, addresses or commission. Press Read them again on the card to refresh the count now.
Add to UpPromote
Open an agreed deal and press "Add to UpPromote". It adds the affiliate to the program you picked. We turn UpPromote's own notification email off, so they get only your invite. If they're already in UpPromote, we link to them instead of making a second one.
UpPromote lets an app add up to 150 affiliates a day.
When something goes wrong
- UpPromote didn't accept the key. Check you copied the whole key, and that your plan still includes the API.
- UpPromote asked us to slow down. It allows 120 calls a minute for the whole store. Try again in a minute.
- No active program. Make one in UpPromote, then pick it on the card.
